Red Flash Launches Data Embassy to Secure Africa's Digital Sovereignty

Red Flash today announced the launch of its Data Embassy solution, a groundbreaking model designed to protect digital sovereignty while enabling the rapid deployment of government technology services across Africa.

Developed in partnership with Amanah, the Data Embassy allows governments to maintain complete legal jurisdiction over their data, even when it's hosted in a foreign country. This ensures compliance, security, and sovereign control, giving governments the confidence to adopt large-scale digital solutions.

The Data Embassy model powers Red Flash's GovTech portfolio, including SMARTr Cloud, a platform for micro-taxation in the informal economy, and PARKx, a digital parking platform that boosts municipal revenues.

By combining scalable cloud infrastructure with legal safeguards, Red Flash solves the core challenge facing governments: how to achieve digital scale without sacrificing control. The result is more predictable financing for cities, greater fiscal transparency, and better public services for citizens.
